[Article] SS501 Rebirth No.26 on Top 40 K-pop Albums in the UK – August Week 2 [UKP CHARTS]

Welcome to the first edition of our weekly K-pop Chart, bringing you the Top 40 songs and albums, in the UK.
The chart is based on real numbers and solid facts, using a simple combination of complex formulae to find out the best of the best in the UK for K-Pop. Similar to the Korean charts, the UK K-Pop Chart uses sales numbers, votes from the fans and broadcast exposure, to calculate automatically without bias, the Top 40 K-Pop singles and albums in the UK.
This weeks chart does not include votes, however over the next few days we will be releasing polls to help determine next weeks charts!
So without further ado, the first UKP K-pop Top 40 albums…

2. BEAST – HARD TO LOVE, HOW TO LOVE
3. TROUBLE MAKER – TROUBLE MAKER – EP
4. G DRAGON & T.O.P – GD & TOP
5. 4MINUTE – NAME IS 4MINUTE – EP
6. BEAST – MIDNIGHT SUN – EP
7. 4MINUTE – VOLUME UP
8. RAINBOW – RAINBOW SYNDROME – EP
9. RAINBOW – RAINBOW SYNDROME, PT.2
10. VIXX – HYDE – EP
Some fan favourites were obviously expected, but we were also surprised by the low sales numbers of some of the big headline groups who recently made a comeback… which meant that some of them didn’t even make the Top 40!
And proving that we Brits are a little different from the Koreans and Americans, we really do love the classic K-Pop, with some great tracks still making up the Top 40 best selling music in K-Pop in the UK months after their first release!

[Article] Kim Hyung Jun releases duet ‘Always Love You’ with Kota

On 13th August, Kim Hyung Jun released Summer Special digital single ‘Always Love You’, a duet with Kota from Sunny Hill.
Duet ‘Always Love You’ is about a sweet and romantic story of two people falling in love. In the MV, Kim Hyung Jun was seen taking a helicopter and having fun with a group of young people on an island, enjoying their summer getaway.
Even with his busy schedule, Kim Hyung Jun still put in his best efforts in the making of the song, hoping to give fans a brilliant summer present.
