'Yahoo Asia Buzz Awards 2013' was held in Hong Kong on December 1st, and Kim Hyun Joong garnered 'Most Searched Korean Artist' award.

'Yahoo Asia Buzz Awards 2013' report entertainment trend based on online web search statistics, and recognize hottest stars of the year.

'Most Searched Korean Artist' gets given to a Korean artist who was searched the most from all over the world on Yahoo! just as the title tells.

Kim Hyun Joong's agency said, "Kim Hyun Joong heard the news while shooting drama 'Generation of Feeling'. He could not attend the event because of the schedule, but we'd like to express sincere gratitude for everyone's support."


Meanwhile, Kim Hyun Joong's new drama, 'Generation of Feeling', will premiere in January.

[Article] Kim Hyun Joong won't be able to perform as SS501 at 'DSP Festival' due to filming for his drama

Thanks to the 'DSP Festival', fans will get to see the reunions of Sechskies and Click B, but there will be no reunion for SS501 as it has been revealed that Kim Hyun Joong will be unable to perform with fellow member Park Jung Mindue to his drama filming schedule. 

Kim Hyun Joong's camp told OSEN on December 6, "Due to his drama and fixed schedule, [Kim Hyun Joong] will not be able to participate in the concert. Although it's regretful, it would be difficult to perform due to the scheduling conflict with his filming for 'Generation of Youth'."

DSP Media will hold their first family concert in 22 years, 'DSP Festival', at Seoul Jamsil Indoor Gymnasium on the 14th with its former and current artists, including Sechskies, Click B, Park Jung Min, KARA, and Rainbow.
