When asked for his preparation work for his action scenes, Kim Hyun Joong answered, “I have a pretty boy image for ‘Boys Over Flowers’, but I will be showing my real manly side through ‘Inspiring Generation’. I have trained a lot for a variety of action scenes. There will be many highlights to look out for in the drama, including action scenes and the throwback to the 1930s setting.”

‘Inspiring Generation’ is set in the 1930s of Shanghai, China, and depicts the friendships, love, and patriotism of Korean, Chinese, and Japanese triads. The drama will take over from ‘Bel Ami’, and begin broadcast in January 2014.
