In , episode 5, Shin Jung Tae(played by ) and Tekuchi Gaya(played by ) met again.

Gaya went to visit Mo Il Hwa(played by )’s gang not to disturb her gang when she met Jung Tae there. The two recognized each other right away and were surprised.

In , episode 5, Kim Ok Ryun(played by ) told Kim Soo Ok(played by ) to get lost.

Ok Ryun, who wanted to become a singer, had an audition. Soo Ok, who was passing by, fell in love with her voice at once and watched her sing. However, later as Ok Ryun was about to get swindled by the judge, he went in and saved her.

Soo Ok followed Ok Ryun, but Ok Ryun did not trust him at all. As he kept asking her for a cup of tea, she said, “Seems like you’re the roughneck of this neighborhood, but I’m taken so get lost.” He watched her walk away and said to himself, “What a pretty chick.”

In , episode 5, Tekuchi Gaya(played by ) killed a person for the first time.

Tenkai(played by ) and Gaya went to see the traitor of the gang. Tenkai asked Gaya, “Have you ever killed a person? Why don’t you kill him?” Shinichi(played by ) explained, “It’s too early. Gaya’s not prepared for this yet.” However, Tenkai continued, “It’s not about getting prepared, it’s about staying alive. We have to kill in order to stay alive. This is the fate of those who live for the blades.”
Gaya eventually killed the traitor. She did hesitate when he said he had a daughter, but eventually brandished the sword. After she came back to her room, she broke down feeling guilty.
