[Article] Kim Hyun Joong’s Global Fans Gift Him with 18 Tons of Rice

Kim Hyun Joong received 18 tons (~36,000 pounds) worth of rice from his fans from around the world, proving his popularity as a hallyu star.
The fans organized the rice wreaths to be sent to the press conference for KBS′s The Age of Feeling on January 9, at the Imperial Palace Hotel in Nonhyun-dong.
The rice wreaths were sent by his fans in Asia, including Korea, Japan, China, Taiwan, Singapore, Hong Kong and Indonesia, as well as those from other continents, such as Greece, Brazil, Chile, Iran and more.
On top of rice, the fans also sent eggs, ramen, stock feed, and coal briquettes, which will all be donated to help out those in need.
A fan that was present at the spot stated, “We decided to gift him with rice as well as other items in order to show support for his new drama. These items will be used to help out the poor.”
Meanwhile, The Age of Feeling will air its first episode on January 15 at 10 pm (KST).

In Melody of Love, episode 48, Gong Soo Im(played by Hwang Sun Hee) worried about Park Hyun Woo(played byBaek Sung Hyun) in front of Han Tae Kyung(played by Kim Hyung Jun).
Soo Im said to Tae Kyung, “I heard Hyun Woo wanted to become a musical actor. If he a part of your theater?” Tae Kyung answered, “Yes, he is.” Soo Im continued, “Could you please stop him? He shouldn’t be doing this. How can people always do something they like for living? Something they like and something they should do are totally different.”
