SS501’s Kim KyuJong, Crayon Pop’s Way, gagman Moon SeYoon, gagwoman Jang DoYeon has been casted for the 20th anniversary musical performance “Singin’ in the Rain”.

On 19-Mar, production company Choice Entertainment revealed the 20th anniversary musical performance “Singin’ in the Rain – SABITA Since 1995″ will be held from 6-Jun to 30-Aug as well as the cast members.

SS501’s Kim KyuJong, who has shown his potential as a musical actor through the role of Lee Shin in “Goong” in 2011, will be casted for the role of DongHyun. Kim KyuJong was previously the centre of the Korean Wave, and being able to perform in “Singin’ in the Rain”, the very first Korean musical to be exported to Japan back in 2008, raises the anticipation of his local and overseas fans.

Crayon Pop’s Way has been casted for the role of Yoo MiRi in “Singin’ in the Rain” 20th anniversary musical. In 2013, girl group Crayon Pop made headlines locally and overseas with their song “barbarbar”, Crayon Pop’s member Way will have her first challenge in musical performance with the role of Yoo MiRi. Way, who has broaden her realm through activities in China’s variety program, will show a different side of her in this musical.

Gagman Moon SeYoon and gagwoman Jang DoYeon are casted the role of DongWook and Yoo MiRi respectively. Kim SungKi, Jo YooShin, Im KiHong, as well as Kim JongSun, Im JungHan, Yang DongWon, Son YeSeul, Park HyunJi, etc, actors/actresses has passed the highly competitive audition to perform in this 20th anniversary musical performance.

Musical will be from 6-Jun to 30-Aug, at Seoul Daehangno Uniplex Building 2, tickets will be available from 25-Mar through Interpark and Auction.

Kim Kyu Jong will make his return as a singer this April!

Kim Kyu Jong's agency announced on February 17th that he will make his comeback with a new solo album in April and it will be released simultaneously in both Korea and Japan.

Since this will be his comeback after 2 years and 9 months so many fans are really looking forward to it. His last 2nd mini album 'Meet Me Again' released in July 2012 was dedicated to his fans before his enlistment in the same year.

Kim Kyu Jong's agency said,"Kim Kyu Jong is focusing on the preparations for his new album. Since this year will be his 10th anniversary, he is planning various projects for the fans along with the release of the album".

Composer of the nation’s ‘Cute Song,’ singer Dandi will release a new song.

According to his agency Widmay Entertainment, Dandi’s new song will be out on January 27.

Debuting in 2010 with ‘Feel Sympathy,’ he continued his singing career with other songs before becoming a hit as a composer for the ‘Cute Song.’ He also wrote Kim Jong Min’s ‘Sali Go Dali Go.’

Dandi’s new song will feature SS501’s Kim Kyu Jong whose emotional and clean voice will complete Dandi’s stylish rap.

Meanwhile, Dandi’s song with Kim Kyu Jong will be available on January 27 at noon

Actor and singer Kim Kyu Jong gifted his staff of KBS N miniseries ‘SOS Please Help Me.’

To give the staff support and express his thanks, Kim Kyu Jong prepared a coffee car so the staff can drink coffee whenever they want throughout filming. On site, there was a banner next to the car that said, “Today, Kyu Jong is treating everyone to coffee!” He personally handed out the drink to the staff as a sign of appreciation. An introvert falls in love with a girl who turns out to be his new step-sister and she likes someone from her school who turns out to be in a relationship with a teacher.
