Saying hello to his fans, Heo Young Saeng sent a friendly handwritten letter from the army.

Heo Young Saeng’s handwritten letter was recently revealed through his official website. The letter read that he’s staying healthy in the army, which he entered on October 31. 

He wrote that he caught a cold, but it’s not a problem since he’s breathing a lot of fresh air. 

“A lot of you were worried because I’m a little shy, but after two days on base, I became really close with the other squad members and I’m having fun.”

As the letter continued, Heo Young Saeng talked about the army food. 

“Just as Psy sunbaenim said during a broadcast, the food here is delicious. I don’t think I’ll be losing any weight.”

He promised to continue working hard for the next 21 months in the army and show up confidently in front of fans. He thanked fans for all the letter they sent to base as well. 

“Dreams will definitely come true if you don’t give up,” said Heo Young Saeng, ending the letter on a positive note.

Singer Heo Young Saeng, who is currently serving in the army, personally wrote a letter for his fans that was uploaded onto his official homepage in the form of a picture.

He had written:

"I am healthy.  Also, thank you for the numerous internet letters.  I worry that I may not be able to read all of them.  The squad leader printed out all the dozens of letters so I read them when I have the time.

First of all, colds.  Usually, when I get a cold, it lasts for three to four weeks.  So still, I cough.  Regardless, I go through training while drinking in the clear air so there are no big problems . . . Secondly, many people are worried because I am shy around strangers, but I got close to my squad members two days in so I am having a fun and happy time.  Also, the younger ones follow me well so I am very grateful.

Thirdly, I can do the training that everyone else does.  It is just that I hate exercising a bit.  However, it is the rule that anyone likes rest as much as or more than moving.  Fourthly, food.  As Psy said on air, the food is tasty.  Looks like I won't be losing weight easily.
During the period of twenty-one months, I hope everyone does their best wherever they are and that when it comes for us to meet again, I hope to see all of you as dignified rather than timid people.  Dreams come true no matter what as long as you do not give up on them.  Fighting."

I guess everyone is worried that I couldn’t read them.. Squad commander printed all the letters out to give to me, so I try to read them all whenever I can! Keke
The first thing is, flu... whenever I catch a flu, it will continue for about 3~4 weeks~ That’s why I am still...coughing... TT^TT But since I’m breathing fresh air and doing my training..it’s no big problem!
Second thing, many are worried because I am shy with strangers.. after I’ve entered in, I’ve became close with my unit members, it was interesting and I’m enjoying the life now~ And also the dongsaengs listen to me so.. I am also thankful for that~^^
Third thing, about receiving training.. a lot of you are worried, I am able to do everything the others did~ke however, it’s just that I hate exercising! ke by the way, it’s like everyone likes resting~ but not preferring it over exercise/moving around~^^
Forth thing, food~~ke.. Like what PSY sunbaenim said in broadcasts, they’re delicious.. and it’s far more delicious.. than what I’ve imagined~!! Ke I guess I won’t lose any weight.. TT^TT

So he knitted the hats in his free time after work and sent it over to the office.
Even though we heard sometimes that he is knitting the hats^^ but having received them, made me imagine KyuJong’s look when knitting the hats with the knitting needle.
Indeed, he is our thoughtful star!
A total of 14 hats were sent today.
Various colors are pretty and he really knitted well. KyuJong said he has gotten help from his mother.^^
The hats will be delivered to ThanKYU who are doing the charity work, to be donated together with the rest.
