On January 2nd, KBS and KEYEAST Entertainment released new posters and a preview for Kim Hyun Joong's upcoming period drama Inspiring Age. The drama which is set to air on KBS2 in the time slot currently occupied by Pretty Man, stars SS501's Kim Hyun Joong as Shin Jung Tae, one of the most talented street fighters in Shanghai.Inspiring Age which is also known as Inspiring Generation or Age of Feeling will chronicle the struggles and patriotism of Koreans in Shanghai during the 1930s.

The teaser is resplendent with 1930s imagery detailing the merge of traditional dress with more modern fashion. Kim Hyun Joong is shown engaging in brutal ring fights and becomes increasingly bloodier throughout the scenes.Inspiring Age is shot throughout foreign locations and maintains a sweeping scale that is synonymous with historical Korean dramas. Actresses Lim Soo Hyuang and Ji Se Yeon star alongside Kim Hyun Joong, as well as actor Kim Jae Wook, who most recently starred in Who Are You.

Fans of Kim Hyun Joong were disappointed that his previous drama City Conquest was not aired. Inspiring Age will be the first drama starring Kim Hyun Joong to air since 2010's Playful Kiss. International audiences will also recognize Kim Hyun Joong from his starring role in the 2009 Hallyu sensation Boys Over Flowers. With Inspiring Age, Kim Hyun Joong will return to television screens with a more mature image and opportunity to shine outside of his previous portrayals as a school boy. Inspiring Age will begin airing on January 15th on KBS2.
